Back-to-School Resource Fair
The community came together to help District 205 students have a great start to the year!
EYFP was proud to be a part of Elmhurst Resource Collaboration's Resource, Health & Wellness, Careers and Back to School Fair on Saturday, July 24. Students got school supplies, spirit wear and sports physicals, some took care of dental check-ups and COVID vaccines, families learned about many important resources, and those new to the district were made to feel welcome. It was an inspirational day for all involved!

The April 15, 2021 edition of The Independent ran a story about the pantry's extraordinary challenges and successes since the start of the pandemic one year ago, told in the voices of EYFP's operations team members and regular volunteers who reflect on how they were feeling when the pandemic was first declared, how they adjusted when the pantry’s client service procedures were turned upside down, and what inspires their service to the community. Our volunteers are amazing!
