2023: 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our 40th Anniversary Celebration a great success!

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, we held a sold out fundraising event at River Forest Country Club. It was a great way to celebrate the pantry’s evolution from its humble beginnings to its current status serving 600+ households a month from nine local communities. The event netted more than $52,000 to help support EYFP operations.

How to find our main pantry:

EYFP main pantry is located one block south of Butterfield Road at the corner of York and Lexington (east side of York across from the Ace Hardware/Oberweis strip mall). The EYFP building is situated between Yorkfield Presbyterian Church and Jimmy Johns. Enter the Yorkfield Presbyterian Church property from Lexington, and drive around the church to the northeast corner of the parking lot to find our building.
