COVID-19 Update: Modified Service Procedures
Effective March 16, 2020
Effective Monday, March 16, EYFP will shift to modified services for the food pantry. This is not a decision we take lightly but we do have to weigh the health and safety of all we serve as well as our volunteers.
We are implementing the following Modified Service Procedures in order to maintain a healthy environment for our clients and volunteers:
The food pantry will be open for regular hours, with pick-up service in our parking lot. Clients are asked to remain in their cars for service.
Grocery bags will be pre-packed.
Clients* can wait in their cars and bags will be delivered.
*We cannot process new or first-time clients at this time.
EYFP is still accepting donations of non-perishable food, toiletry, and paper products. However, monetary donations will be most helpful to aid us in our ability to source much needed inventory. Click Here to make a Gift.
We care about our community and want everyone to be safe. We encourage everyone to follow good health practices as outlined by the CDC:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
