    UPS is hiring multiple Seasonal Positions for their Addison Facility. As a part-time package  handler, you will be working about 20 hours per week. This is a physical, fast-paced  job that involves lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that may weigh up to 70 lbs.
    • Driver Helpers starting at $18/hr
    • Package Handlers starting at $20/hr
    • Personal Vehicle Drivers starting at $21/hr

  • In-Person Hiring Event: Tuesday, November 8th, 10am-12pm: Septran Transportation in Carol Stream is now hiring Bus Drivers ($25 p/h), Monitors ($14),  Dispatchers, Maintenance Tech II, and Routers.   • In-Person Hiring Event: Wednesday, November 9th, 1pm-3pm, Goodwill, Lombard We invite you to come and learn more about the GOODWILL WAY. Hear from  representatives from both

  • In-Person Hiring Event: Tuesday, November 15th, 10am-12pm Shorr Warehouse  Operator, full time positions in Aurora and West Chicago (WC also offers part time).  Forklift training for those with no experience. Aurora shift (6am-2:30pm or 5pm 1:30am). West Chicago shift, 8am-5pm, Starting pay $18, plus bonuses and $2,000 sign on bonus.

Goodwill Workforce Connection Centers are valuable community resources that provide convenient access, tools and technology, and support to those looking for work. A large range of work opportunities are promoted to help connect job seekers to positions that meet their unique employment needs. The revenue generated from sales of donations in our Goodwill Store & Donation Centers help fund these services.

The Centers bridge the gap between the job seeker and local companies. We provide an array of services, including resume assistance, job preparation workshops, access to computers and other technology, job leads and a regular schedule of employer recruitment sessions. Services are provided at no charge to our customers.

You must be 16 years of age or older to use the Center services to find work.

In-person recruitment events are located at the Lombard Workforce Connection Center, 351 E. Roosevelt

Free English Classes Through College of DuPage

Free English Language Acquisition (ELA) classes develop your conversation, listening and speaking, reading and writing skills. Get more involved in your community, gain skills for improved employment and further your educational opportunities through COD's ELA program. Classes and books are free.

People's Resource Center Offering In-Person ESL Classes

PRC's Adult Learning and Literacy program offers free instruction in English, math, and reading, as well as preparation for GED and citizenship tests.
