COVID-19 Modified Service Procedures

Effective June 19, 2020


EYFP is excited to announce that we have improved our service to the community. While we still have to observe limited contact and social distancing, we can offer “client choice” for families needing food assistance.

  • Clients still remain in their vehicles and line up from the garage door of our building.


  • A coordinator will ask for either your driver’s license or your pantry ID card, if you have one. (*New clients need to register online prior to visiting the pantry.)


  • A coordinator will then give you an order form and direct you to a designated parking spot.


  • Volunteers will record your order and run it into the pantry.


  • Interior volunteers will be your “personal shoppers” based upon your selections. 


  • Groceries will be placed in the trunk of your car.

*New Clients:  

We serve only residents of Elmhurst, Bensenville, Addison, Lombard, Villa Park, Hillside, Berkeley, and Oakbrook. You will need to present ID and proof of residency at time of service.
